The Union Fire Company was formally organized on April 6, 1789. The move to form the fire company had started after a devastating fire that destroyed several houses in the area of what is now 9 North Hanover Street. Monroe Twp Outbuilding Fire - Tanker assist

Last evening after Borough training members handled several calls for service. The Tanker responded on the working fire box to Monroe Twp on Fisher Rd for an outbuilding fire. Adams County Franklin Twp Mountain Fire

Utility 41 with 3 responded as part of the Piney Mountain Strike Team to assist on a mountain fire today. Crews were there just over 3.5 hours and were assigned the right flank for line improvement and extinguishment activities.... (Full Story & Photos)

Crews have handled 4 calls out of town today so far including the following. 06:16 Odor of something burning (Middlesex) 08:29 Odor of gas inside (South Middleton) 15:20 Auto Accident (Dickinson) 21:00 A/A Vehicle Overturned (South Middleton) Thank you to Carlisle Fire Police & all other agencies involved in the responses today . Four Call Day

Our crews has handled four calls today putting us over the 100 call mark for the year. Tonight the Borough companies met at Station 45 to review RIT operations and FF survival. Company 41 had 12 members attend.

South Middleton Twp Trindle Rd/I-81 Accident w/Rollover

Engine 241, 245 / R45 and 36 were sent to W Trindle Rd and the I-81 on-ramp in South Middleton Twp for an auto accident with rollover and confinement. E241 arrived on scene with one vehicle on its side and the driver was extricated by a bystander. Crew handled patient care until EMS arrived and handled fluids/debris.... (Full Story & Photos)

Dickinson Twp Commercial Dumpster Fire

Today at 14:16- Engine 241 & 245 responded to Goodman Drive in Dickinson Twp for a reported dumpster fire against a building. Engine 241 arrived on scene with one commercial sized dumpster on fire with minor damage to the outside of the building. Dickinson Twp I-81 SB mm39 Brush Fire

At 1249 hrs. Engine 241, Brush 41, and Mini Pumper 46 were dispatched to interstate 81 mm 39 for a brush fire (Box 6-96). Units arrived and found a small area on fire. Units were on scene approximately half an hour before clearing... (Full Story & Photos)

Carlisle Boro 600 E High St Small Outbuilding Fire

At 20:39 the first alarm was sent to the 600 blk of East High St in the 41-01 box for an outbuilding fire. Engine 141 arrived on scene with a well involved 10X10 shed that was previously used as a guard shack at Frog Switch & Manufacturing. Units were on scene a little over an hour....
